emergency

blockages
This is a 24 hour emergency service. We do not merely unblock pipes, instead we remove the blockage. We then use a camera to help us to find the cause of the blockage. Afterwards we can guarantee that the blockage will not reoccur.

flooding
This is a 24 hour emergency service. First we deal with the emergency by stopping the inflow of water and then we clean up. Afterwards we will thoroughly investigate the cause of the problem before presenting a permanent solution.

It may well be that we apply a temporary fix initially. This will be to limit further damage and restore production as quickly as possible. It also gives us better opportunity to ensure we find the right solution for the problem so that we can guarantee that it will not happen again.
maintenance

scheduled maintenance
Your business is unique. Your needs are unique and so are your objectives. It makes sense that your maintenance plan will be unique too. We do not give off-the-shelf solutions. Instead we will design your maintenance plan according to your needs and budget.

urinals & washroom
We do plumbing and drainage, so our washroom maintenance plans can cover the entire washroom. Our plans are individually drawn up and can even include guarantees that drains will not block, or that urinals will not smell.

grease management
We do not just install a grease trap and leave you with the dirty job of emptying it. We will give a complete solution which includes Design, Installation, Monitoring and Maintenance: a complete grease management solution with a full guarantee that your drains will not block again. We will also save you money.

inspection

CCTV
CCTV is the most common form of drain inspection. The condition inside the pipe is recorded and used to draw up a detailed report with photographic evidence of observations.

GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar)
GPR is used to show the condition and density of the soil. It helps in identifying pipes and cables and can be used to show areas of interest such as voids around pipes. GPR results are open to interpretation, so results should be confirmed through excavation.

pressure test
All pipes are subject to leakage and it is very difficult to have nil leakage in any system. Therefore the Building Regulations specify how much leakage is permitted from drain pipes. To make sure that your drains operate within these regulations, we conduct a pressure test.

drain location
All drain and pipe detection systems have limitations, which is why we use an array of different methods to establish where your pipes run. These include dye testing, Sond locating, Ground Penetrating Radar, Acoustic sonar and many more.

installation

excavation
Digging a trench is often the cheapest and best solution for installing new pipes. We always choose the best method for the specific situation, taking into account safety, quality and cost. Sometimes this means a JCB; other times it means a shovel. When the work is done we will clean up the site and repair the surface so that hardly any signs of construction activity remain.

micro tunneling
With micro tunneling we use a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) much smaller but similar to those used to build the channel tunnel. Pipe segments are pushed into the bore hole behind the TBM. This process allows the installation of pipes between two access points e.g. manholes, without having to dig a trench.

tanks & sumps
Most waste water is moved by gravity to a dispersal point or treatment centre. If there is no dispersal point or treatment centre downstream from your site, the waste needs to be collected in a tank or sump and then pumped away.

treatment plants
A sewage treatment plant allows waste to be discharged directly into a stream, canal, river or even a flood plane. This is a significantly cheaper option than regular emptying of a septic tank. It is also more environmentally friendly. We install treatment plants of all sizes suitable for a single house to large schools.

replacement

excavation
Despite great technological advances, sometimes digging a trench is the best solution. When we dig, the health and safety of our staff and bystanders are our first priority and we do our utmost best to manage any risk effectively. When the work is done we will reinstate all surfaces so that you may not even notice we have been there.

pipe bursting
Bursting is a way of replacing an old pipe with a new one without digging a trench. The new pipe is attached to a cone which is dragged through the old pipe by a strong jack. This process bursts the old pipe open allowing a new pipe of similar or larger diameter to replace it.

pipe eating
Pipe bursting compresses the ground around an existing pipe to make way for a new pipe. If this process is not suitable we can use a process of pipe eating. During pipe eating a machine similar to a Tunnel Boring Machine is used to break up the existing pipe and to remove the spoil. A new pipe is pushed in behind the machine as it progresses down the line. Again no trench has to be opened.

rehabilitation

patch
Damaged drains are often isolated occasions. This is ideally suited for a patch repair. Our patch repairs are WRC approved and consist of Fibreglass matting with Silicate resin. The patch is placed over the damaged section under pressure and allowed to cure. The repair does not require any excavation and once completed it is guaranteed for up to 10 years.

reline
During a reline, a felt tube saturated with epoxy resin is placed inside a pipe. The tube is held under pressure against the pipe wall allowing the resin to cure. The result is a smooth tight fitting pipe inside the old pipe. The new pipe covers the entire length of the old pipe and does not have any joints. The repair does not require any excavation and once completed is guaranteed for up to 10 years.

top hat
A Top Hat liner is installed at a connection where one pipe joins another. The liner is made of felt which is saturated with a silicate resin and is installed similarly to a patch repair. The repair does not require any excavation and once completed is guaranteed for up to 10 years.

flood grouting
Flood grouting is a fast and economical way to stop water infiltration and exfiltration in a whole drain system including manholes and lateral connections. The drain is flooded first with one chemical and then another. This instantly seals all leaks in the entire system. The repair does not require any excavation.

slip lining
Like relining, slip lining installs a new pipe that fits tight inside the old pipe. Unlike relining the liner is pre-manufactured. It is folded to fit easily in the old pipe and then expanded. The repair does not require any excavation and once completed is guaranteed for up to 10 years.
