These are 24 hour emergency services. The first thing we do is restoring normality as quickly as possible. Sometimes we apply a temporary fix initially, allowing us to return at a more convenient time for you, also allowing us to find the right solution for the problem without having to rush and risk making mistakes. |

leak detection
Leak detection is by no means straightforward; there are many tools available to choose from. Unfortunately most of these tools work best when there are neither changes in the ground, nor bends in the pipe. In practice this is seldom the case, especially near a building. The ground will have been disturbed many times and the pipe is rarely laid in a straight line. Inside a building it is even worse, as the pipe is shaped to fit around corners. Although we make use of these tools, competent leak detection depends very much on highly skilled technicians with many years’ experience. If there is a leak, we will find it.
plumbing inspection
Plumbing inspections are popular with new house buyers who often choose a comprehensive plumbing inspection to make sure that there are no plumbing crises waiting for them when they move in.
pressure and flow
A pressure and flow test is essential to determine if you have an adequate water supply to the property. The test is in two parts. First your Water Authority will test the water up to your property boundary, to assess if they are supplying enough water to you. If the Water Authority supply is good, then we test the pressure and flow inside the property to pinpoint any problems. |

| installation |
kitchen
We provide a comprehensive kitchen installation service. This could be individual devices or an entire kitchen including gas and electrics.
bathroom
Our bathroom installation service covers all bathroom/cloakroom related installations, from replacing wash basins to installing complete bathrooms including tiling. You can be assured of a one-call complete service.
water mains
We have an array of methods to choose from when we replace your water main. These include moling, where a machine mole is driven through the ground allowing the water main to be installed without digging a trench. We also include lead removal, where the old pipe is pulled out and replaced with a new pipe, also without digging a trench. In some situations, digging a trench is still the best option to choose. |

rainwater harvesting
Rainwater harvesting is the collection and storage of rain from roofs or from a surface catchment area for future use. The water is generally stored in rainwater tanks or directed into mechanisms which recharge ground water. Future use can either be grey water applications such as flushing toilets, laundry and garden use, or the water can be treated for human consumption.
water softening
A water softener reduces the calcium or magnesium ion concentration in hard water. These "hardness ions" cause two main problems. The metal ions react with soaps and calcium sensitive detergents, hindering their ability to lather properly and forming an unsightly precipitate— the familiar scum or "bathtub ring". Presence of "hardness ions" also inhibits the cleaning effect of detergent formulations. More seriously, calcium and magnesium carbonates tend to adhere to the surfaces of pipes and heat exchanger surfaces. The resulting scale buildup can restrict water flow in pipes. In boilers, the deposits act as thermal insulation and impede the flow of heat into the water; this not only reduces heating efficiency, but allows the metal to overheat which, in a pressurised system, can lead to failure.
water treatment
Water treatment describes the processes used to make water more acceptable for a desired end-use. These can include use as drinking water, for use in industrial processes or to allow discharge into the environment without adverse ecological impact. These processes may be physical such as settlement, chemical such as disinfection or coagulation, or biological such as lagooning, slow sand filtration or activated sludge. These systems are available in sizes suitable for developments from a single house to a small town. |
